Dr. Hatab, M.D.
Dr.
Hatab joined AARC in 2008 after spending two years
abroad. He is excited to be the newest physician to join the team at Allergy Asthma and Respiratory Care Medical Center.
Dr. Hatab obtained both his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Medical degree from the American University of Beirut. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency and Allergy Immunology fellowship training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
After completing his training, Dr. Hatab accepted a full time faculty position at the American University of Beirut where, for 2 years, he was instrumental at starting the Allergy and Immunology services at the Medical Center. He was also involved in resident education, aeroallergen research and community outreach programs.
Dr. Hatab is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy Immunology. In addition to English, Dr. Hatab is fluent in French and Arabic and is currently working on Spanish.
Dr. Hatab accepts new pediatric and adult patients with all allergic and immunologic disorders including rhinitis, asthma, food allergy, medication allergy, eczema, latex allergy, and immunodeficiency.
